About Claire

As State Representative for District 122, Claire will be an advocate for families and a positive voice to improve our state's health care system, respond to the climate crisis and protect our environment, and reverse gerrymandering and safeguard our democratic institutions. Claire will practice inclusion, decency, and generosity at all times; listen to her constituents; and take a pragmatic approach to solving problems.

Claire is a mom, an educator, and a passionate advocate for women and children’s health. Born in Houston and raised in Fort Worth, Claire has been happy to call San Antonio home for the past six years. She lives on the North side of San Antonio with her husband of seven years, Rich, their two young daughters, and two retired greyhounds.

Supporting clients, including Georgetown University and various government agencies, she has worked with a wide range of content areas, primarily in the areas of health care, online security, privacy, and national security. Claire is proud to work for an organization committed to and founded with the mission of serving Veterans and improving Veteran access to health care.

Claire is trained and accredited as a volunteer Breastfeeding Counselor and serves on the Board of Directors of Breastfeeding USA. Her other volunteer positions include serving on the immigration response committee of the San Antonio Mennonite Church and volunteering at her daughters schools.
